The Feet play Ball

Materials:

Newspapers

Concept:

A Newspaper is been fold and unfold again with the feet (pull out shoes). Then the paper is been scrunched up with the feet. This ball is now passed to the partner. Its also possible to try to put the ball into a goal (e.g. bucket).

Variations:

Change distances

Applaud whenever a goal is scored

Transmit the ball of paper and also other small things (nuts, braces...) to other players

Paint a ball (or sth. else) on the paper with a pen, stuck between the toes

Grab the paper with the feet and wave

 

 

 

 

 

Stay in the Air! *

Materials:

One balloon per child

Concept:

One balloon should stay as long as possible in the air, only touched by fingers, hand, forearm, elbow, nose, head, knee or foot.

Variations:

From time to time hunker down, sit down, do a turn

Keep the ball in the air as long as possible, one partner imitates all movements of the other (without balloon)

Pass the ball to a partner as often as possible

Play over a rope, tightened between two chairs, while sitting

Keep more balloons in the air in small groups (3-5 children)

Throw the balloon on the wall, turn around and catch it again

 

 

 

 

 

Target throw

Materials:

Pasteboard, cork, balls of wool, scrunched paper balls

Concept:

Try to hit a target with different materials.

Variations:

Target above the head ( circles, painted on the wall)

Target on the floor (bucket, basket, pin, cardboard box, hoops hold vertically)

Also shoot with the feet

Target in heigh of the head (hung up hoop)

Change distances to target

Trow with different things

Outside also with natural material (fir cones, acorns, chestnuts)

Exercise with both sides

 

 

 

 

 

Course

Materials:

Seating furniture from the group room etc.

Concept:

The children build a course in the group room with chairs, tables, stools or other things. The task is to build this course in a way, that it can be passed without touching the ground.

In the gym

In combination with stories from „Pippi Longstocking“
