GAMES TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

 

 

 

 

 

Who is Who? *

Concept:

Approximately five children form a group. One blindfolded child has to guess who is standing in front of him, through touching the other children’s head, arm and legs.

 

 

 

 

 

“Human Chain”

Concept:

A group of children form a “human-chain”, everybody is linked to his/her neighbor. Individually everybody makes a movement, without breaking this link.

Variation:

Upon a signal (e.g. music or sound) the “human-chain” is set in motion, and stops upon a second sound or when the music stops. (Posmyk 2008)

 

 

 

 

 

The Centipede

Concept:

Concept:A group of children crawl on all fours. (bench like position) The hands take hold of the ankles of the person in front. Now the group can move through the room.

Variations:

Numerous centipedes crawl through the room

Obstacles to move over (Strings representing snakes, pillows representing hills, through chairs and desks), music compatible (Posmyk 2008)
