The opening of the day nursery for the learning environment can be done in two ways: the day nursery actually opens its doors to other children and adults from the environment. On the other hand side, the day nursery exceeds its territorial boundaries, goes outside as an institution and cooperates with partners. This opening of the day nursery permits:

a greater variety of experiences and new movement and learning situations especially for the older children

the presentation of the educational work of the day nursery in public

a visible quantitative and qualitative upgrading of movement activities through the cooperation with the parents' homes and appropriate institutions

The following pages will take the cooperation of the day nursery with the families, the cooperation with elementary schools (in motion) and the social integration under special consideration. A separate section is dedicated to school.
