STORIES OF MOTION

Stories of motion are short stories (circa 3 minutes) of real or fictitious events presented in an oral way. These should raise the interest of the children, entertain and motivate them to partial-body or full-body motions. The content of the stories is expressed by the children by self-constructed, spontaneous movements.

balloons

Materials:

balloons

Concept:

The children sit in a circle. (There are) Inflated balloons are distributed on the floor, one less than there are players. Now a story is told by the administrator, in which the word "balloon" occurs (in). If this word is said, everyone has to grab a balloon. The person who does not get one, continues telling the story after the balloons were placed back into the centre of the circle.

The children sit with their backs to the centre of the circle.

Many different materials can be used (for example natural materials).
