PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SCHOOL IN MOTION

P.E. teachers coming across the term “exercise” will probably immediately think of the main part of his/ her subject. Then, a big question mark hangs over the discussion about the topic school in motion:

And if we introduce school in motion, what is going to happen to our P.E. lessons? Are they still needed then?

Isn´t school in motion even able to ruin our entire P.E. classes?

The relation between school in motion and P.E. is, in our opinion, absolutely equal. Both have clearly distinguishable aims as well as specific content and methods. They can, however, make a profit from each other with regard to cooperation.
The content of movement education can be completed and expanded in P.E. On the other hand, there is the possibility of giving various stimuli for single parts of movement education with the help of P.E. Activities of both fields fuse in the sector of school life in motion.
